GODLY GUIDANCE
And the LORD shall guide thee continually....
Isaiah 58:11
The promise of the Lord for you today is for those special periods in your life when you need divine intervention. You need the guidance of God in every area of your life. Let us look at some of these areas.
The first major area of your life where you need help is in the area of choice of subjects. Next, you need the guidance of God concerning the course to read in higher institution as well as your school of choice. Beside the major decisions we have listed above here are other minor decisions you will take each day and for which you equally need the assistance of the Lord. For example, a decision as simple as praying before you leave your room in the morning can affect the kind of friend you choose to associate with. The kind of friend you have can influence the way you behave. Your behaviour can determine your success in academics. And, of course, breakthrough in academics determines how happy or sad you will be in life. Therefore, you really need God to direct your path.
Challenge: Seek divine guidance.
Prayer: Guide me, O thou great Jehovah.
