                                      SHARP-EYED SAMARITAN

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not....
(John 4:15)

The Samaritan woman had an encounter with Jesus. She was very sharp-eyed. She was quick to observe that Jesus was a Jew, and not a Samaritan like her. With the offer of living water, she believed that would be a solution to her water problem. The woman might be wrong in her logic but she showed the basic traits that all successful people have. That is the ability to apply the knowledge they have to solve day to day problems.

You too must learn from this woman. Information is not useful until it is applied. In fact, someone defined wisdom as "the right application of knowledge." How many of the principles of the things you have learnt have you put into practice? You have heard a lot about the importance of reading and various study techniques. Which of those techniques are you using? Do you still leave your preparation till the last day to the commencement of exams? Today must bring a change in your life as you make this great discovery about unused tools and methods at your disposal.

Challenge: Knowledge is not useful until it is applied.

Prayer: Help me Lord to make use of the things I have been learning.
